Travel to Bombay
Arguably the most cosmopolitan city of India, Bombay is a must for travelers. Being the commercial hub of India, Bombay is the main international gateway to the country. The city has far more international flights than Delhi, Kolkata or Chennai. It also has the busiest network of domestic flights, including flights to Aurangabad the base for visiting the world heritage sites of Ellora and Ajanta caves. The international airport (Sahar) and the domestic terminal (Santa Cruz) are 30km and 25km respectively from the center of Bombay. You have a good facilities shuttle buses between the two terminals. Long-distance buses ply from the state road transport terminal opposite Bombay's Central railway station to different destination within the state of Maharashtra and outside the state. The state buses of Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh connect Bombay to different places in these states.

Travel to Bombay by Air :-
Bombay has an international and a domestic airport, they are the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Domestic Airport.Both these airports are situated at a distance of 4 kms from each other. They are located approximately 30 kms and 26 kms away from the heart of the city - Nariman Point - in south Mumbai.
An airport bus service operates between the airports and the Air India building at Nariman Point. It takes around an hour to reach the domestic terminal and fifteen minutes longer to reach the international terminal. But during peak hours due to the traffic the journey could last almost two hours. Tickets can be bought either on the buses or at the booth outside the Air India Building. There is also a shuttle bus that operates at regular intervals between the domestic and international airports.


Travel to Bombayby Rail:-
The Bombay Central and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (or VT) are the two railway stations at Bombay that connect it to the rest of the country.

Travel to Bombay by Road:-
Long distance buses depart from Bombay Central S.T. bus depot to several towns and cities. MTDC also operates a number of bus services throughout the year (except for the monsoon months) to many scenic spots and tourist centers.
